Customer success a trendy marketing term? No way, the Customer Success team acts as a valuable bridge between customers and the rest of the company. Gaby Phielix, together with her Customer Success team, ensures an even better collaboration with our customers.
Gaby: "When I started at IT Local just over a year ago, I had never heard of a Customer Success team and didn't really know what to imagine. Now, when I tell someone that I am a Customer Success Team Leader, I also quickly get a questioning look. My mission is a bit to show the importance of a Customer Success team and, of course, why this is such a great job!"
What does a job at Customer Success entail?
"One of my main tasks is to help support our customers' employees. Why? Every change has an impact on people. This is no different for employees in business facing IT changes. Often, IT is an unknown area or even perceived as difficult. With my team, I really try to ensure that the IT environment is understandable, easy to work with.
A new online workplace, such as IT Local's smart workplace, but also Microsoft programmes and setting up new devices (e.g. laptops, phones, tablets) sometimes involve questions or challenges. A Customer Success team member ensures good IT adoption, where we try to get everyone on their own level to participate in the change taking place."
Support and training
What Gaby likes best is that people become enthusiastic about their (online) workplace and embrace working procedures instead of being annoyed by them. "So we really take care of making working in an online environment more fun and easy. We take the employee by the hand when needed.
Did you know that in addition to direct product support, the our team also offers full training courses adapted to the level of employees? This allows us to go hands-on deeper into subject matter; individually or in a group! The result is much greater understanding and efficiency within the company and the changes taking place. I see time and again that the support we provide creates calm within an organisation! Do you know how much energy that gives?"
