Working smart from the portal or beyond
Via the portal, you can access all apps and data from a single, clearly organised home screen. It’s also where you’ll find our handy IT Local apps, which make your work even easier. You can also launch your organisation’s traditional programmes (non-cloud apps) from the portal, and these run quickly and smoothly (via the optional VDI). If your organisation has provided you with your own laptop or desktop, you can also use the fully functional Microsoft 365 desktop apps outside the portal.

With the smart workplace, you do not need to worry about security or privacy. Your data is safely stored in the cloud. And the workplace, including data, applications and devices, is continuously secured.
Basic and additional security
You benefit from robust basic security provided by the Microsoft platform, as well as additional security through our Essential security package, which includes Microsoft 365 backup, multi-factor authentication (MFA) for log-in, and antivirus protection. Our management team ensures continuous monitoring and intervenes where necessary. You’ll always be working with the latest versions of applications, and role-based access means you can only access the data and apps relevant to your role.
Secure shared platform for VDI
Does your organisation use our VDI solution? If so, it’s good to know that it runs on our secure shared platform, with your data stored in the Netherlands.

Together, we choose the solution and ideal mix that best suits your organisation. Based on managed devices + portal and optional VDI for traditional applications. We ensure that all your employees have a suitable workplace, perfectly suited to their role or function.
The ideal mix
Employees with their own device (company laptop or desktop) have access to the desktop apps with full functionality. Employees who do not have their own device and probably make limited use of the workplace will soon be able to log in to the portal via their own account, where they will find the web version of the apps. This mix will save you costs!
VDI for smooth operation of legacy applications
Does your organisation work a lot with legacy applications (traditional applications that are important for your business operations, but not cloud-based)? Then we recommend our workplace with virtual desktop solution (VDI). With VDI, even your legacy apps work well and fast. We run the VDI in our own shared platform. This enables a quick response to issues. And it is a cost-effective solution, because on our platform you share resources with several customers, without making concessions on speed or security. Your data is stored in the Netherlands.
A smart workplace is a managed workplace
A workplace that runs like clockwork and continues to do so depends on good IT management: extensive monitoring, ensuring the latest updates, making backups and many other essential tasks. Not everyone has the right knowledge, time and tools for this. That is why we only offer our smart workplace if you let us take care of the management. Only then can we guarantee optimal and safe operation of the workplace. Of course, we also unburden you by outsourcing management. Also good to know: does your own hardware meet our management standard? Then we will manage it for you effortlessly (without high purchase costs for new hardware).
Windows operating system for seamless integration with Microsoft apps
As our workplace is based on Microsoft, we can only manage it if you use a Windows operating system or are open to starting to use one. And that’s a good idea in any case, because with Windows you benefit from seamless integration with Teams and, of course, with all other Microsoft apps. Unlike other operating systems, virtually all business software runs effortlessly on Windows. It’s no coincidence, then, that it’s the standard in the business market.
