The acquisition is part of the broader growth strategy of Smizer (the group of IT companies to which we are affiliated) and is a strategic move aimed at strengthening its position in the SME segment and increasing its internal capacity, clout and expertise.
Infotune ICT is a good fit with our culture, services and ambitions. We share a customer-centric approach, short lines of communication and a focus on service and flexibility.
With the integration of Infotune ICT, we grow as a company to 45 employees and now serve more than 50,000 users.
The six Infotune ICT employees will join us. The Doetinchem location will eventually close and Infotune ICT will communicate from the company nameITLocal. The board members, Gerard Wiggers and Gerben Froger, intend to stay. They are committed to a seamless transition from their organisation to ours.
Remko Kleij, director IT Local: "The acquisition of Infotune ICT provides a bit of extra power in the services we provide to our customers. For instance, it gives us a bit more capacity on the engineering side. And our new colleagues, who fit well into our team in terms of attitude and skills, naturally bring new knowledge and ideas with them."
Gerard Wiggers, director of Infotune ICT: "Existing contacts, contracts and working methods will remain intact in the short term, but our customers will immediately benefit from more capacity and expertise as a result of the takeover. Moreover, we can now serve them in larger projects and from a broader perspective. For instance, with additional services in the field of security, adoption and simplifying work processes via apps. Because we are now part of an ISO 27001- and NEN 7510-certified organisation, our customers also benefit from further professionalisation in services."
