Your server data safely stored
Fire, theft, a ransomware attack, a crash... you don't want to think about it, but of course it can always happen. With Managed server backup, you are always assured that your valuable server data are stored safely: locally and in our data centre. We continuously monitor and test the backup process. In the event of a disaster, we restore the lost data and make sure everything works again.
With the Managed server back-up service, IT Local provides you with a solution whereby we secure the data on your servers on a daily basis. So that you can fall back on it in case of calamities. We do the backup for the Windows servers in your network. On request, we can also do it for any different virtual machines. Specific conditions apply.

In the event of a disaster, we restore the lost data and bring your network environment back into production.
Continuous monitoring and testing
Through checks and tests, our management team continuously ensures that the backup software and the backup process work properly and securely.
Valuable data, securely stored
As standard, we store the backup data for you at two different locations:
- locally in your own environment
- in the private cloud in IT Local's data centre
Through this method, the backup is quickly available via local storage while also being stored securely off-site in case something happens to the local storage.
Optional: monthly or annual data archiving
We also use private cloud storage for the option to archive your data monthly and/or annually. We do this for up to seven years and with the help of an external partner. You can rest assured that this is done securely:
- We encrypt your data using the 256-bit encryption method
- Our partner provides secure transport from IT Local to the bunker: the data carriers are in a sealed case, which is in a secure car equipped with track & trace software
- The bunker, a former nuclear bunker, is fully air-conditioned and meets the highest security standards.

* In a file recovery test, we manually check the backup files for readability and the ability to retrieve files from the backup.
