With the Managed two-factor authentication service, IT Local provides you with a solution where we optimally secure your accounts, applications and data.

Two-factor authentication (2FA) works via an authentication app on a mobile phone that your employees use in combination with a personal password to establish their identity. Your employees log into their workstation or application as usual with their own password. They then have to approve the login attempt via their phone, or enter an additional code that can only be found on their phone or in their mailbox.

So by adding this extra step (factor), 'cracking' a password is no longer enough to break into a computer system.

Insight into login attempts
The tool we deploy records all login attempts and makes them easily visible. This allows us to see when a third party is trying to break into a user account and take preventive action to keep your accounts secure.

Immediate assistance with any login problems
Because we provide this service for you, we can directly assist your staff when you need to set up 2FA for a new user or link it to a new device.

Is a user account linked to a phone that one of your employees accidentally forgot? Can happen, of course, but don't worry: our Service Desk will be happy to assist. And will ensure that your employee can still log in temporarily via an override procedure until the phone is to hand again.
